Crane-Hogan traces its roots to 1975, when Daniel C. Hogan and James R. Crane started the business.
Crane-Hogan has successfully completed projects involving the development of new Marinas and docking facilities. Between 2004 and 2006, Crane-Hogan completed for the City of Rochester the River Street Improvement project which involved the construction of 85 new floating docks along the Genesee River in Charlotte, NY. Crane-Hogan needed to work with a dock design and manufacturing firm to design an acceptable system for the City which could be movable for the winter months. Between 2015 and 2016, Crane-Hogan completed for the City of Rochester the construction of the Port of Rochester, which involved the building of a large port from the Genesee River and the design and construction of 65 fully-equipped floating docks.
