The work under this project consists of furnishing and installing all equipment and materials necessary for the implementation of the Roadway Weather Information and Traffic management System.  This contract includes the deployment of field devices and installation of the fiber optic communications in the Towns of Webster, Brighton, Henrietta and the City of Rochester  from Wayne County to both the Region 4 Headquarters at Jefferson Road.  The system will be operated from the proposed Airport/Transportation Operation Center on Scottsville Road in the Town of Chili and will house NYSDOT, Monroe County DOT and NYS Police personnel and equipment.
